Peter Hess® Sound Massage

What is a sound massage?
The sound massage is performed with therapeutic singing bowls after the Peter Hess® method and is not a massage in the conventional way.
During the one hour treatment the singing bowls are placed on the clothed body and tapped gently with a mallet. The resulting sound vibrations travel through your whole body and sets every cell in motion.
This gentle stimulation allows the cells to reorganise themselves and go back to their natural vibrational state. This is when the body experiences a state of deep harmony, peace and relaxation.

FAQ

In general yes, but there are a few exceptions for whom a Sound Massage is not recommended:
– You suffer from epilepsy
– You have a paste maker
– You recently had an operation and your scar is still healing
If you have any doubts please get in touch and we will check which option is best for you.
Is a Sound Massage safe during pregnancy?
Yes, it is. The only recommendation is to avoid a Sound Massage during the first three months.
What can I expect from a Sound Massage treatment?
You can expect the feeling of deep relaxation and harmony in your body and mind. Most likely you will also feel refreshed, energised and uplifted. A Sound Massage contributes to your overall feeling of well-being.
What can I not expect from a Sound Massage treatment?
Coming with an expectation to release a certain emotional trauma or physical pain in one treatment is not a good idea. The Peter Hess® Sound Massage offers deep relaxation and harmony through which self-healing can be activated but not forced. Every body has its own story and timeline.
A Sound Massage will benefit your overall well-being but should not be seen as a medical treatment which will fix a certain issue in one session (even though it could happen).
